THE TITHES, THE PROMISES AND THE BLESSINGS TO FOLLOW:

But he whose descent is not counted from them received tithes of Abraham, and blessed him that had the promises (Hebrews 7:6)

The first time the tithes was mentioned in the bible is Genesis 14:20. It was Abraham, the father of all who believe that paid tithe to Melchisedec, who was “the priest of the most high God” (Genesis 14:18). This Melchisedec, was; without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God, abideth a priest continually (Hebrews 7:3).

He was actually a manifestation of Christ “whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting” (Micah 5:2).
Through Christ (Melchisedec), God gave Abraham the revelation of the blessedness of the tithes. Abraham had received the promise of God. (Genesis 12:1-3). The promise was awaiting actual fulfillment in its time. The blessing of God was needed for the promise to be fulfilled. The promise was the egg. The blessing was the seed. The seed must hit the egg for the promise to become a manifestation.
When Abraham who was carrying the promise met Melchisedec, (God’s Priest), he gave the tithes of all. With the giving of the tithe, Melchisedec released the blessing upon Abraham, the carrier of God’s promise. Read how the scripture put it: Melchisedec, “received the tithes from Abraham, and blessed him that had the promises” (Heb. 7:6). As the tithes were received, the blessing was released and the promise became activated. There was nothing Satan could do about it, Abraham became blessed forever.

Some believers claim that the tithes is of the old covenant. Great error! A deception by Satan to keep you in the wilderness of carrying the promises of God, without releasing the blessing to activate them into real-life manifestation. The tithe was a revelation by Christ (Melchisedec) to our father Abraham. It is a covenant pillar of covenant greatness. It is a vital key to open heaven. It is a medium of activating the blessing of God upon all that you do. And it is the blessing of God that will make you rich, not your struggles (Prov.10:22).
This was why God compelled the Hebrews to observe it as a law in the old covenant, 430 years after He gave the revelation to Abraham His friend. It was because He wanted them to be blessed like their father Abraham.

Obedience to God’s revelation and demand was why God blessed Abraham in all things (Genesis 24:1). This is why all true children of Abraham are blessed. They are all faithful tithers (Genesis 28:22). All who are of faith, who walk in the way of Abraham, are blessed in all they do (Galatians 3:7, 9). They tithe like Abraham their father and are blessed in all their ways (Psalm 1:3). Beloved, do not fall into the trap of the enemy, He wants you poor, broke, wandering in the wilderness of life, even though you carry all of God’s promises which is yea and amen in Christ. (II Cor. 1:20). Beloved, obedience to God’s revelation of tithes will change your fortune and your life. It makes you move from a carrier of God’s promises to a carrier of His blessing, walking in the manifestation of His faithful promises. Do what your father Abraham did and become greatly blessed like he was. Start today! Be another faithful Abraham. Be a consistent tither, and you will see the glory of the Lord in the land of the living. It is well with you.

So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham (Galatians 3:9). Many of our members who are faithful in tithing always have good testimonies to share. Join the WINNERS.

TWO OTHER THINGS:

1. Obedience Will Speed Your Journey to Greatness.
The initial plan of God for Eli and his family was to produce priests in Israel but this plan was truncated because Eli failed to honor God.
There are many Christians as soon as they have a major project, they begin to compromise their tithes and offerings, by not honoring God with His own portion of their Increase and they are wondering why they’re struggling to survive financially. The problem is disobedience not the economy of America. Please be wise.

2. Another Opportunity to be financially blessed is here again. In this month of October: a month of double favor, double grace, and double mercy let’s sow a seed of $10, $20 or $30, or multiple of 10 for yourself and your children (if you believe and you can?). Without sowing there cannot be reaping. It is a biblical principle. When you fail to obey the biblical principles, the biblical blessing may become occasional instead of regular occurrences. The unbelievers understand this principle hence they sow regularly and they continue to experience abundance. Financial abundance has nothing to do with prayer and fasting but consistent sowing and giving. It is wisdom.
