As you spring forward today, new blessings and miracles will spring up in your lives and families
1 Samuel 17:37 says
The Lord who delivered me from the paw of the lion and from the paw of the bear, He will deliver me from the hand of this Philistine.
That statement by David shows the heart of a man/woman with mentality of a winner and triumphant faith . Before he confronted Goliath, he believed that it was doable and it would be mission accomplished not by his strength but by His God.
Church, We can accomplish great things when we have our faith placed in the only One (God) who can do great things. Many talented, skilled military men stood and trembled at the sight of Goliath, not one man stood up to challenge the giant Philistine. Then there came along a boy with a slingshot and a few stones. His trust wasn’t in the king’s armor, his slingshot, his stones or the army behind him. No his trust was in the Lord God who created heaven and earth. He had learned through tested trials before then that with God nothing is impossible, God had saved him before and He trusted Him to save him again.

Most people today stand on the sidelines and watch. The “giant” whatever that giant is seems too large to take on, impossible to defeat, not worth the risk. When we approach things from a worldly point of view that is what we see, defeat is inevitable. But when we approach things in faith, when we approach giants by prayer and by recalling the great things God has done before, we become more bold, we are willing to take the risk because we know the risk is worth taking because God is with us. He calls us to trust Him in faith not by what our human eyes see and what our human flesh feels. “For we walk by faith, not by sight.”
2 Corinthians 5:7.
2 Corinthians 5:7.
It’s important to recall the great things God has done for us in the past because it helps us move on into the future. It’s important to read and know great stories of faith found in the Bible because our God is a God who never changes. He loves to work through people who put all their faith and hope in Him. No matter how big the task or problem maybe all things become small when placed in God’s hands. Always have and always will be.
So today, the question is: what do we need to place in God’s hands? Our health, our finances, our spouse, our children, our jobs, or our future or business? Whatever it is, know this to be true. The God of the Bible is more than able. By faith, let us surrender that our concerns, worries, challenges or problems to Him and place those concerns in His hands. He is more than able. Why am I sure?
Ephesians 3:20 says Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.
